Hi everyone,
UNICEF is a partner with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) and the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF. A campus fundraising challenge ran from August 1, 2009 to April 1, 2010. UNICEF campus groups across the U.S. raised a total of $313,120.00. UNICEF-Georgetown made the top 10, with $4750.62! Since its inception in the wake of World War II, UNICEF has been working hard to immunize children from deadly yet preventable childhood diseases, fight malnutrition, and work with local communities to improve sanitation, educate children, and protect human rights.
