UNICEF, UNICEF-GU, and Haiti

Dear all,

Georgetown's many campus groups and organizations sprang into action after a devastating 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit Haiti on January 12th, 2010. UNICEF-Georgetown partnered with Georgetown Unconventional Eaters to hold a fundraising dinner for Haiti, with donations going to victims of the quake. At the Cherry Tree Massacre on February 27th, some of our members tabled and asked for donations. In the coming months, we have more fundraising and awareness-raising initiatives planned so that we as a group, school, and community could continue aiding the injured and displaced of Haiti.
